The 2027-2028 scholarship award will be announced at a later date. In 2026-2027 a $4,000 scholarship will be awarded to a qualified medical student at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.

Description
This scholarship is awarded to a second-, third-, or fourth-year medical student at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University who demonstrates financial need and community service work with medically underserved populations. This scholarship was established in 2022 and is made possible by contributions received from Dr. Raymond C. Truex, Jr.
