To ease the stress of funding a medical education, The Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society offers affordable loans with personalized customer service to Pennsylvania residents enrolled in fully accredited Pennsylvania medical schools. Through our funding services, medical students can fulfill their dream of becoming a physicians.

Application Deadline

Students should submit the medical student loan application to their Pennsylvania medical school's financial aid office by June 30, 2026.

Loan Highlights:

• Individual loans up to $15,000, minimum of $6,000

• Aggregate total up to $50,000

• Interest free until January 1 after disbursement

• Interest rate will not exceed 6% during school or deferment

• No payments required during school or deferment

• No loan fees

• NOTE: To receive a Foundation loan, students must apply for a PAMED membership in addition to meeting all eligibility requirements. ​
