Burnout among physician assistants is an increasingly recognized challenge. As demands grow and emotional strain intensifies, it's essential to foster environments that support resilience and well-being.

To emphasize why it's important to take these stresses seriously as a professional, Medical Directors Raymond Truex, Jr., MD, FACS, FAANS, MRO, and Charles N. Burns, Jr., MD, MRO, visited students in the Salus at Drexel Physician Assistant Program to speak on addiction, mental health, and burnout in health care professionals in early September.
